2026 Bi-Annual Impact Report

Main Street Fort Smith’s 2026 Bi-Annual Impact Report highlights the progress, investment, and partnerships shaping downtown Fort Smith from January through July 2026.

During the first seven months of the year, Main Street Fort Smith continued to leverage public and private resources to support downtown businesses, properties, and community initiatives. Highlights include more than $1.7 million in downtown property sales, new and expanding businesses, continued investment through the Downtown Mini-Grant Program, and more than $112,000 in grants, sponsorships, and partnership funding secured to support downtown programs and projects.

The report also highlights ongoing work in business development, design and beautification, arts and culture, and partnerships that are helping build momentum throughout the downtown district.
